Be careful what you wish for................because you might just get it!

Always be aware of what you actually want from magick. When doing wealth spells, think about it like this.. You ask for money, your rich uncle dies and leaves you some, ok so you got your money, but at the expense of loosing a loved one. You want to heal your friend, but instead of saying what you heal them of you just 'heal them', instead of making her nasty cold go away you healed her grief for the death of her beloved dog. These are just examples but trust me it can happen this way.

I do not do Love spells, wealth spells or anything like that. Simply because i dont want anyone i know to die or be injured to allow me to gain wealth, i dont want to bind a lover to me for the rest of my life, i may fall out of love, and never be able to get rid of the person. Take all these kind of things into account and if you are really still unsure, dont cast the spell.

Wicca the facts

Some of these facts are found in Soraya Book of spells (Soraya has been a witch for many years.)

Do you believe that there is a reason for everything? Do you believe that if you wish hard enough anything is possible? Do you believe that you can do more in your life? Have you noticed that sometimes what you want happens almost before you express the desire?

Is wicca a new religion?

Wicca or paganism is not a religion at all. Wicca is a Goddess-based belief system that can be dated back at least 25,000 years.

However, its usage as a term used for those who practice paganism is relatively new. Pagan faiths have existed on most continents since history began and there are many disciplines. Some people are drawn to the Anglo Saxon tradition and others follow a Native American path. Some people are known as kitchen witches, green witches or solos. Green witches focus on the earth and are likely to be involved in replenishing or restocking wasteland to introduce trees, shrubs, flora and fauna that may be dying because of pollution or mankind’s general neglect or abuse. They may also be involved in the production of natural herbal remedies.

Kitchen witches (us) whilst being supportive of green issues, will also produce their own self-grown herbal remedies and potions but on a much smaller scale. A solo (or solitary) witch can be green or a kitchen witch. The term solo or solitary means that they work alone rather than in a group. They may from time to time, join others for celebrations.

As with all faiths there are offshoots and varieties and that is because everyone is different and their needs are different too. Wicca or paganism is something that you believe in and practice in a way that suits you.

What is magick?

Magick is the art of causing change by power of will. In other words, magick is simply the manipulation of energy. Some people are afraid of magick, and so they should be because magick is powerful stuff. Some say that magick is black or evil, white or good, but the truth is there is no black, evil, white or good magick – it’s all the same. There are however, good people and evil people. If your heart is filled with evil or wicked intentions then maybe you should rethink your path.

The beliefs of a witch

1)     The divine is both male and female, equally and in balance. There is a God and a Goddess.

2)     We should respect nature.

3)     Everyone is entitled to their own informed choice of spiritual path, so long as they harm no one else.

4)     The wiccan rede ‘An ye harm none do what thou will’

5)     The law of three fold return: whatever you do be it good or ill will be returned to you threefold.

6)     The seasonal cycle is celebrated through the wheel of the year and the eight sabbats.

7)     The cycle of the triple Goddess is shown through the lunar cycle.

8)     We have personal responsibility – our thoughts, feelings, words and actions are our own responsibility.

9)     We strive for personal development; we should each work towards being the best self that we can.

10) We are each our own priest or priestess and need no one else to interpret our Gods or our spirituality for us.

11) We practice divination, finding knowledge by other than our five senses.

12) We practice magic, making changes by force of will.

13) Life continues after death, with the summerlands and reincarnation.
