Being a witch and making your own candles, insense, lotions and potions is great fun. I have never enjoyed myself so much in the kitchen and now also in the garden. The herbs are all growing well and I add new ones regularly. As well as herbs I grow flowers, and other green plants, all of which can be used in magick.

They have chat rooms, advice, healing cirlces you name it they got it go check it out and get some real knowledge under your belt!!

Kate West - an experienced high priestess of the Hearth of Hecate. Her books are easy to understand and are full of things to make and try. Our two favourite books by her are The witches Handbook and The witches kitchen. We have many books by Kate.

Soraya - She is an experienced witch whos book is full of moon magick ideas and star sign correspondences etc.

Fiona Horne - calls herself a modern witch. Her book is very different to any other we have read and it tells of her ritual experiences etc. Her book covers Gods and Goddess's, spells, the wheel of the year and lots more. A good read for you if you are thinking about wicca.

Teresa Moorey - she has written over 30 books on witchcraft, astrology, and related subjects.The book we have is called Silver Moon and it is a magickal guide to working with the moon. It also contains some excellent moon meditations that we have found great to do.
